The Helen Bamber Foundation works with survivors of torture, human trafficking and other forms of extreme cruelty. We provide medical consultation, therapeutic care and human rights advocacy, creating a safe place where survivors can find the answers and become the architects of their own healing.
CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards. Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years. CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support, every step of the way.

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. This year I am again challenging my body to go beyond what it has previously had to put up with.
Last year it was 12 marathons in 12 months - this year it is 12 marathons in 12 months plus.....
.....in the space of 5 weeks between 3 June and 8 July I aim to have completed the 56 mile (89Km) Comrades Marathon in South Africa and also an IronMan in Frankfurt. The IronMan is a 4km swim 180km cycle and a full 42km run.
It is all self funded so anything you donate will go to these two amazing charities....please give anything you feel you can...it will help many people and will also help motivate me while I am doing these ridiculous activities!
