Peter Law

The Daisy Garland
A family-run national children’s charity providing active support for children with drug-resistant epilepsy and their parents/carers. The charity was set up in memory of our daughter Daisy who tragically died at 6 years of age from SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy patients). We provide NHS hospitals with ketogenic dietitians - a medically recognised and accepted way of treating drug resistant epilepsy. This diet is not widely available on the NHS due to lack of funding. We also provide grants for night-time breathing monitors to children with drug-resistant epilepsy.

Pete Law's 170 mile Ride The North Challenge

My page:

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

Soon to be the big Five Oh, I fancied this challenge to ride 170 miles from Inverness to Aberdeen, Via Elgin, over two days.

I'll be doing it as part of a group of 20+ from stonehaven, the MAMMOTH's (Middle Aged Men mostly Over The Hill), and some MAMMET's !!

In addition to this personal adventure, I would like to raise some money for a charity i have long supported 'The Daisy Garland' run by firends of mine who lost their Daughter Daisy to Epilepsy. They do great work, raising funds for hospital based dieticians and have recently arranged for a Dietician in Glasgow. They also provide personal support and advice for families with children suffering from Epilepsy. See the web site attached for more details.

My enrolmnent fee for this event, also goes to support 'Maggie's' a local Aberdeenshire charity for Cancer support -

So if you could support me and them it would be appreciated.
