LOROS Hospice provides specialised palliative care for terminally ill patients and their families along with a wide range of vital supporting services, free of charge. LOROS strives to improve quality of life by alleviating stress and pain and providing for the specific needs of the individual. Physical, emotional and spiritual support is given to patients and their families.

Hi everyone, thank you for visiting my page. As some of you may know, unfortunately, my sister-in-law Mandy McIntyre recently lost her very brave battle against cancer and recently passed away.
Mandy spent her final weeks at Loros Hospice and received superb care and support during her time there. The Hospice continues to offer the family support and advice as they require it. Having experienced the hospice and their staff - they provide a very valuable role in difficult circumstances.
As a final tribute to Mandy I shall be running the Great South Run on the 30 Oct 2011 and would like to try and raise some much needed funds for LOROS. As you will appreciate this hospice like many others are provided with limited government funding but survive due to very kind donations from people such as yourselves.
Please help me by donating to this extremely worthwhile cause - and help me around the course!!
