We are a small organization raising money to develop some of the best mountain runners in the world. Nepal is home to some of the toughest trails and hills in the world, and also is the home to some of the most talented mountain runners too.
Unfortunately the Nepalese don’t have the opportunities or freedoms to make the most of these. We would like to change that. By providing the training and means for the best Nepalis to attend international standard mountain and trail runs, we hope to give them a new horizon beyond their hard lives in Nepal.
We are aiming to raise £10,000. This will fund a training camp for Nepali runners for 12 months, and also cover their race entry and travel costs to several high profile mountain races across the world, including the Western States 100, Davos Ultramarathon and the Kota Kinabalu Climbathon in Borneo.
The B&J Charitable Trust provides support for several Nepali charities. It is registered with the UK Charity Commission and HMRC, and is supporting us so that we can benefit from GiftAid donations.
All donations will go towards training these runners and getting them to international races.
