West London Action For Children - West London Action for Children is a small, independent charity that provides therapy and counselling services for vulnerable children, and their parents, in the boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham, and Kensington & Chelsea. Our mission is to help families draw on their strengths to overcome challenges and become the parents they want to be, with children who flourish. Our profesional team of counsellors and therapists offer help to over four hundred families a year. These families are affected by a range of issues including: abuse, domestic violence, mental illness, poverty, bullying, divorce, bereavement, emotional and relationship difficulties and the challenges faced by parents. We provide them with a specialist service for local children and families which is tailored to the needs of the individual.

We have received an incredible amount of offline support in terms of pledges, particularly from clients and business partners. Thank you all.

Further we feel it proper that we advise that one of our lead supporters asked that their $25,000 contribution be allocated following the Haiti disaster to Partners in Health. Of course we can only honour this request, and more recently a number of others have requested that their donation be allocated to the UK charities. Dollars, Sterling, allocation, as you can imagine this is a bit complex, however whilst our intent is to split the amounts raised equally, we do though honour and respect wishes of all contributors first and will therefore only divide the pot up after we have fulfilled your specific instructions

If you are a US donor you can donate through this site but you may prefer to write a cheque to Partners in Health which is a non profit organisation based in the USA with 501(c)(3) status.
