The RAF Association is dedicated to supporting serving and former RAF personnel and their families. Whether it’s an injured airman fighting to get back onto his feet, a young daughter missing her parent away on overseas operations or a WWII veteran needing a shoulder to lean on, we are there to help. Membership of the RAF Association offers a wide range of benefits for all those with an interest in supporting our aims. It is also a membership organisation. With around 70,000 members and 500 branches in the United Kingdom, throughout Europe and further afield, membership offers a wide range of benefits for serving or former RAF personnel and those with an interest in aviation.

Action Duchenne is a national charity that aims to find a cure for Duchenne, a severe genetic muscle wasting disease. The condition affects mainly boys and without treatment most of these young men are completely paralysed by their early teens and die by their late teens or early 20s. To ensure we do not lose another generation of young people to this terrible disease we need more funding for research and treatment

WELCOME!
Team RAFA Duchenne will be competing in the Motoscape Rally 2012 to raise awarness of two charities; The Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) and Action Duchenne. This "7 Countries in 5 Days" tour of Europe is from 1st - 5th September 2012 starting in France and ending in Italy.
RAF personnel and their families dedicate their lives to their country. The RAF Association's mission is simple; to ensure that their sacrifice does not end in suffering, poverty or loneliness. Whether it's an injured airman fighting to get back on his feet, a young daughter missing her parent away on overseas operations or a WWII veteran needing a shoulder to lean on; RAFA is their to help by giving friendship, help & support to the past and present personel of the UK's Air Force.
Action Duchenne is the only charity in the UK that solely supports the terminal illness; Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). It is a devastating genetic muscle wasting disease which is caused by a missing protein. During and after childhood the muscles continue to degenerate, eventually leading to paralysis and early death. Currently their is no cure.
