Our vision is to offer children born into poverty the opportunity to build a brighter future through full access to education. We provide education, nutritious food, psychological help, healthcare, shelter and community support. We currently support the education of 500 Guatemalan children through from reception class to university. We are exceptionally proud of our children and their achievements. We believe that only through education can you break the cycle of poverty.

Climbing for the Kids!
Hi, thanks for visiting my page! I have been living in Guatemala, Central America and volunteering with children from the poorest of backgrounds. The Education for the Children Foundation provides children born into extreme poverty with an education, feeds them, cares for them and promises them a brighter future. Without this project the children in the school would be starving and have no relief from their difficult home lives. In January I will be carrying out the EFTC Big Volcano Challenge to raise as much money as I can for the project. Climbing 3 volcanoes in 3 days will be a enormous challenge for me but I will be thinking of the kids the whole way. The smiles on their faces are worth every penny!
