At Rainbow Trust Children's Charity we provide emotional and practical support for families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. With the help of the families who share their inspirational stories about the difference Rainbow Trust has made to their lives, we have been able to raise our profile and tell more people about the valuable work that we do. From the humble beginnings of two staff and a kitchen table to work from in 1986, Rainbow is now a national charity. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of staff and volunteers, Rainbow continues to grow year on year and makes progress towards achieving its vision that one day all terminally ill children and their families will have access to a Rainbow carer.
Ordinary People. Extraordinary Care. Supported by you. Through your support, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance brings an advanced critical care team to people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight when they need it most. Available both day and night, 365 days a year, the Air Ambulance critical care team is called out many times a day to attend to road traffic collisions, sporting accidents, collapses and many other incidents. Highly skilled crews of Doctors, Paramedics and Pilots can be at the scene of an incident within minutes, ready to deliver the same level of care that you would expect from a hospital emergency department. It currently costs in excess of £9,000 a day to maintain our life saving service, and it is only thanks to the generosity of the communities that we serve that we are able keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives.

Red Mist 3 Peaks Challenge's fundraising page
This year our charity challenge is going to be tougher than ever!
We are teaming up with Mozzo Coffee and 1st Call Tree Surgeons to raise funds for two fantastic local charities that some of our pubs support; Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.
In July, a 16-strong team of not-so-seasoned climbers will take on the 3 highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales. On day 1 we will tackle Ben Nevis in Scotland, the highest of the 3 peaks at 1345m, before climbing Scafell Pike in England (978m) and Snowden in Wales (1085m), on day 2.
This is no mean feat; the gruelling schedule won't allow for much sleep or rest between the climbs, but we are excited to take on the challenge in support of the wonderful work these 2 charities do each and every day.
Every donation counts, however big or small, and will help Rainbow Trust and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance continue their great work, as well as spur us on when our legs turn to jelly on the descent of Scafell Pike!
Thank you for each and every donation; your support is greatly appreciated and we'll be sure to keep you up to date with our training and of course, our progress on the challenge itself.
