Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's. Because we're here, no one has to face Parkinson's alone. We bring people with Parkinson's, their carers and families together via our network of local groups, our website and free confidential helpline. Specialist nurses, our supporters and staff provide information on every aspect of Parkinson's. As the UK's Parkinson's support and research charity we're leading the work to find a cure, and we're closer than ever. We also campaign to change attitudes and demand better services. Our work is totally dependant on donations. Help us to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's.

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Once again I ran the London Marathon to raise money to help sufferers of Parkinsons Disease - people like my mother. Parkinsons Disease takes healthy people and slowly but surely destroys them. In the 15 years or so since my mother was diagnosed there have been fantastic advances in medicine that help the symptoms. That has happened because of reserach funded by organisations like Parkinsons UK. So, please help by sponsoring me to run in London Marathon 2012.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to Parkinsons UK. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
