Virgin Unite is the non-profit foundation of the Virgin Group. We unite people to tackle tough social and environmental problems in an entrepreneurial way. Our aim is to help revolutionize the way businesses, government and the social sector work together - driving business as a force for good. This is based on the belief that this is the only way we can tackle the scale and urgency of the challenges facing the world today. All of Virgin Unite’s overheads are covered by Richard Branson and the Virgin Group, meaning that 100% of additional donations received, go direct to the frontline where they are needed most.

Ricky Whittle Running the London Marathon!
Hi, thanks for visiting my page. I'm running as part of Richard Branson's Team 2010 and hoping to raise as much money as possible for my chosen charity, Virgin Unite.
This will be a huge challenge for me as it's my first marathon and I am recovering from my hernia operation. So please support me and I promise to make it to the finish line! This won't be easy but knowing it's for such a great cause will keep me going.
Together we are aiming to raise much needed funds for some of Virgin Unite's great charitable partners in the UK, which work with vulnerable young people to improve their lives. Organisations such as Kids Company www.kidsco.org helped over 14,000 at risk children and young people last year and have been awarded the Liberty and JUSTICE Human Rights Award. Rathbone www.rathbone.org provides opportunities for young people to transform their lives through education, training and employment.
