Mission Direct supports great locally led projects among the world’s poorest people. We do this by enabling people like you (ages 7-97), with two or more weeks to join our life-changing trips. By running relays of teams in over 10 countries, we typically build classrooms for children hungry to learn, homes taking people from unbelievable slums and clinics for the sick and mentally ill. Our volunteers also bring aid, help on a wide range of projects and consistently do amazing acts of kindness. We also run specialist teams to train medics and teachers and put computers into schools in Africa. We are a Christian charity committed to expressing God’s love for the poor.

Following our recent successful trip to Sierra Leone where we replaced a school floor and completely redecorated the school, painted a corridor, waiting room and Palava hut at a local hospital we have decided we would like to go back in 2013 and help even more people.
In 2012 we raised around £4000 and were able to help several families with rice, education and medicine and in 2013 we would like to raise around £5000 so we can help even more people. We saw several miracles including a safe return of a 10 year old missing boy.
We would like you consider P.A.W. (a pound a week). If you could save £1 a week until Christmas for us that would be around £30 (a round at the pub), however, in Sierra Leone £30 will feed a family with rice for 1 month, buy a large amount of medicines or education for a year at school. Please help us to help even more people in 2013
