Rob's big challenge!
Hi, thanks for visiting my page and deciding to sponsort me. I have chosen a very special grassroots charity for my triathlon.
The charity is based in Jerusalem and its aim is to bring together Arab and Jewish schoolchildren, along with their parents, grandparents and teachers. Over a 2 year period participants meet and get to know each other by exploring their own and each others' family traditions and cultures. They forget they are Arabs and Jews, and forget they are in conflict.
I chose this charity as it teaches both Israeli and Arab children that there is another way, that they do not have to grow up with hate in their hearts. This is a very important cause and one which I am proud to be supporting. I hope you will support me.
