Hi, thank you for visiting our page! We are so excited to be taking part in the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run on Sunday 14th June and this will be Dylan's first charity event.  We are raising money for two charities very close to our hearts.

Firstly Nicki's Smile which was set up in memory of our lovely friend and Joshua's mummy, Nicki Blake who lost her battle to pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer on the 11th November 2010, aged just 33, leaving behind her devoted husband Dan and three year old son, Joshua.  Dylan and Joshua have been friends since birth and are at school together.  Nicki’s Smile is determined to raise significant sums through fundraising campaigns to make a real difference and ensure that, in the future, survival statistics of pancreatic cancer are improved.  Research and early diagnosis initiatives can make this a reality.

Secondly Langdon which was founded in 1992 by four parents of children with learning difficulties who found there were no organisations that enabled young adults with similar needs to lead an independent life. The charity’s founders had first-hand knowledge of the special challenges their children faced in leading the independent life that their peers took for granted. They recognised that young adults with learning difficulties need extra help and support with everyday living and that, without it, their children – and others like them – would simply slip through the net. From those early beginnings, Langdon’s services have steadily grown and we now help over 100 young Jewish people including my best friend's sister, Claire Flatter. I am proud to be a trustee and the treasurer of this incredible charity.

Thank you for taking the time to read our page, we really appreciate all your support and thank you for your donations.
