MND Scotland
About MND Scotland MND Scotland is the only Scottish charity providing support to, and campaigning on behalf of, people affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND), as well as funding research into finding a cure. MND is a rapidly progressing terminal illness, which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. This can cause someone to lose the ability to walk, eat, speak and breathe unaided. There is no cure for MND and the average life expectancy from diagnosis is just 14 months. MND Scotland is here to support anyone who is affected by MND, in Scotland. We offer a variety of services across the country, including; one-to-one counselling, benefits advice, complementary therapy, a loan of our communications equipment, support groups and more. We also fund vital research, in Scotland, to help take us a step closer to finding a cure for this devastating illness. To find out more how we can help you, or how you can support us, please visit our website at or email Other facts: MND is a terminal neurological condition, which affects signals going from the brain to the muscles. My page:

Brilliant people,

I need your help.

One of my best mates was recently given some devastating news.

He is dying, and fast. That, in short, was what the doctors told him when he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease: a cruel, progressive and debilitating disease.

There is no cure.

It is not the news you expect at 29 years old.

I want to do my bit to help.

It's a truly exciting time to be supporting MND as throughout Gordon's extraordinary year, he has fought back: lobbying for better care and raising over a quarter of million pounds for MND research.

I will be running/bursting with immense pride knowing that we can help raise money for MND Scotland, supporting the continuing incredible work of Gordon to ensure a brighter future for MND patients.

I cannot promise a speedy time as I have unfortunately developed the annoyingly self-explanatory injury of 'runner's knee' whilst training. I CAN, however, promise to trot, skip and cartwheel my way through London knowing that you lot have, and will, be putting your money towards an extraordinary cause.

Please dig deep. Every penny you donate will be spent researching a cure.

HUGE thanks. I could not appreciate it more.

Big love
