Parkinson's UK
Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's. Because we're here, no one has to face Parkinson's alone. We bring people with Parkinson's, their carers and families together via our network of local groups, our website and free confidential helpline. Specialist nurses, our supporters and staff provide information on every aspect of Parkinson's. As the UK's Parkinson's support and research charity we're leading the work to find a cure, and we're closer than ever. We also campaign to change attitudes and demand better services. Our work is totally dependant on donations. Help us to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's.
World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK)
World Cancer Research Fund UK is the leading charity on cancer prevention and survival research related to diet, weight and physical activity. Almost all of us are affected in one way or another by cancer, but we are not powerless. With your support we can keep learning more about cancer prevention to help even more people to a healthier, cancer-free future - keeping loved ones together for longer. Thank you, because by raising money on our behalf you will enable us to continue our vital cancer prevention research. Together, we can prevent cancer.
WWF
We’re the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. And we’re building a future where people and nature thrive together. That’s why we’re passionate about sharing the planet’s resources more sustainably, tackling global climate change and protecting endangered wildlife.
World Bicycle Relief
World Bicycle Relief’s mission is to provide people in need with access to independence and livelihood through the Power of Bicycles. Simple, sustainable transportation in the form of a bicycle multiplies an individual's efficiency. Compared to walking, bicycles improve access to education, healthcare and economic opportunity by increasing carrying capacity and accessible travel distance while decreasing the time it takes to commute to and from schools, clinics and markets With over 285,000 bicycles in the field and 1000 field mechanics trained, World Bicycle Relief is changing lives across Africa, Asia and South America. World Bicycle Relief currently has assembly facilities in Kenya, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe and has supplied bicycles through programs across the world.
Sustrans
Sustrans is the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. We connect people and places, create liveable neighbourhoods, transform the school run and deliver a happier, healthier commute. Join us on our journey.

Will Hodson

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/SCM

Hi! My name is Will Hodson...or sometimes people call me SuperCyclingMan!

I'm currently cycling 100,000km across all 7 continents of the world (including Antarctica!). If you have time, watch this 3 minute video about what I'm doing:

It will take 5 years from May 2015 until January 2020 to complete this adventure of a lifetime. I will be cycling on my own, carrying everything I need on my bike...and I will be wearing a superhero costume for the WHOLE time!

I'm aiming to encourage people to be more active and to get out on their bikes. I'm also aiming to raise at least £100,000 to support the amazing work done by The World Cancer Research Fund, Parkinson's UK, World Bicycle Relief, The World Wildlife Fund and Sustrans.

Please sponsor me whatever you can for taking on this record-breaking challenge and help me reach my goal of £100,000 to support the fabulous work these charities do...and please share my video and spread the word amongst your friends about what I'm up to in my pants!

If you'd like to track my progress around the world I have a LIVE map that updates my movements every 10 minutes on my SUPERwebsite www.supercyclingman.com You can send me a message or ask me a question about this trip on there too.

Thank you for your support...and remember #WeCanAllBeHeroes :-)
