Teenage Cancer Trust
Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for the seven young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day. We build specialist units within NHS hospitals bringing young people together to be treated by teenage cancer experts in a place designed just for them. We want every young person with cancer to have access to this specialist support, no matter where they live. Traditionally treated alongside children or elderly patients at the end of their lives, young people can feel extremely isolated during treatment, some never meeting another young person with cancer. Being treated alongside others their own age can make a huge difference to their whole experience. Teenage Cancer Trust also educates young people and health professionals about cancer to ensure a swift diagnosis and referral to specialist support. Cancer in young people is rare but we want young people to know the common signs and symptoms so they can seek medical advice if they are worried. We rely solely on donations to fund our vital work. You can help transform the lives of young people with cancer. Visit www.teenagecancertrust.org to find out how.
Rainy Day Trust
The Rainy Day Trust was established in 1843 to help those who have devoted most of their lives to working in manufacturing, distribution or retailing in the DIY, Hardware, Housewares, Ironmongery, Builders Merchants or Brushware industries. The Trust provides an essential source of financial and other support to its beneficiaries. The Rainy Day Trust is the industry body that helps us 'look after our own'.

SR Timber's Pavestone Rally Fundraising Page

Once again, SR Timber is doing their bit for charity.  Shaun Revill, Jason Lumley & Steve Hill have signed up to take part in the 2017 Pavestone Rally, driving a 'banger' from Dover to Monte Carlo.  The rules are simple...

They have to buy a road-legal car for under £500 (the cheaper the car, the more fun), dress it up and hit Europe's greatest roads and cities for 4 days on the way to Monte Carlo.

All in fancy dress, they will complete challenges along the way, have loads of laughs and a whole lot of fun - all in the aid of charity.  Every pound they raise will help two well deserving charities, Teenage Cancer Trust and The Rainy Day Trust.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor them and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.  We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
