Sam does the Three Peak Challenge
As some of you may know I suffered from depression on and off as a teenager and in my early twenties. Because of my personal experience mental health provision and help for people with mental health problems is an issue that I feel needs more attention and support than it currently gets.
Subsequently I have decided to sign up to the Three Peak Challenge, but other people know it as it's other name "stupid."
The three highest mountains in the UK are Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England) and Snowdon (Wales). Over the weekend of the 16-17th June I will be climbing them all. In the space of 24 hours.
And this is why I need your help.
I am doing this to raise money for the mental health charity Mind, who do a fantastic job providing help and support for people suffering from all sorts of mental health problems, from depression to bi-polar, anxiety disorders to phobias, and so much more.
I hope that you will choose to support me on this frankly idiotic challenge in any way that you can. Anything that you can give will be gratefully recieved.
