The Theatrical Guild was founded in 1891 by Actors to give support and give financial help to all those who work Backstage, On Stage, and Front of House. IT is the only charity available in the UK for people who are working or have worked Backstage and Front-of-House. We assist those who are unable to manage due to ill health, such as Cancer, Stroke, Parkinson's and Aids or facing trauma due to accidents. Regular help is also available to pensioners, to enable them to maintain their independence and we help provide necessary appliances or help out in any emergencies. We give assistance with nursing fees and shortfalls in nursing home or residential home fees.

First Night Riders - a bum numbing experience
Hi all
thanks for popping by.
As you now know I am about to join the First Night Riders on their 8-day motorbike tour of UK theatres. We will be raising money for The theatrical Guild. Leaving from outside the National Theatre at 10am, Saturday 5th June.
My role is to document the whole event with daily video interviews, blog and photographs via our First Night Riders Networking and blogging site. Check it out by clicking on the link below.
