Charity
Sue Ryder is a charity providing health and social care to people living with long-term, palliative and end of life needs. We deliver our services in peoples homes, in the community and through our hospices and care centres across the UK. We support people, their families and friends affected by conditions including cancer, stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, dementia, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease and motor neurone disease. Each year we provide 4 million hours of care, make 1.4 million home visits to people in need and deliver 100,000 days of long-term residential care. we are one of the largest providers of specialist palliative and end of life care in the UK. Our work goes beyond the UK. Sue Ryder also supports the delivery of specialised health and social care across Europe and in Southern Africa.

On Saturday 11th June my father and I will be strolling the 18 miles of the Timble Trail, a walk just north of Otley that takes in the four reservoirs of the Washburn Valley. He does it every year. This is my first one.
We're walking on behalf of Wheatfields Hospice, a palliative care hospice in Leeds. Please sponsor us if you can.
