The Sumo Run

Whether you're in training for the London 2012 Olympics or you just like dressing up at the weekends, the Sumo Run is your newest hybrid of serious exercise and self-expression. Except, of course, it's not very serious. In short, it is a 5km charity fun run in which everyone must wear inflatable Sumo suits...

Thanks for visiting my page. Hope you're all well. I've just signed up for a 5 km charity run (www.sumorun.org) where I will be dressed up in inflatable sumo fat suits (I've not put on that much weight since Cordon Bleu to do without a fat suit!!) to raise funds for Gemin-i - an educational charity helping children around the world share ideas and work together for a brighter future.

The money raised this year will help Gemin-i run more educational projects connecting young people worldwide. One of the new projects you will be helping to support is an HIV and AIDS awareness project (entitled "Youth Action Exchange") being launched later this year in over 100 countries around the globe.

I have pledged to raise £250 and would be very grateful if you could support me. Donations can be made via this site. All who donate will get an autographed picture of me all dressed up in this suit (see pic)!! :)
