The Great North Run is one of the world's most popular half marathon road running event. Participants run between Newcastle upon Tyne and South Shields in England.

I am overweight.

I am more unfit than i've ever been.

I hate running.

I've signed up for the Great North Run to raise money for Scope which is a cerebral palsy charity very close to our heart.  I've bought fancy trainers and even special socks with padding.

If you could sponsor me to get through this ordeal i'd be really grateful.  It's over 13 miles!!!!  At this point i'd puke if I ran 13 feet!
