The incidence of male cancer is rising rapidly, one man dies every hour from prostate cancer in the UK and testicular cancer is now the most common cancer in men between the ages of 15-44. Despite these alarming figures, awareness among men remains low and research in this area is severely under-funded. Everyman works to raise awareness and fund research into testicular and prostate cancer. Having set up Europe's first and only centre dedicated to research into male cancers, we need your help to continue our vital work. Support Everyman and help us stamp out male cancer.

Sophie Kay's Doing It Three Ways
Hi everyone!
I've finally decided to get off my bum and give myself an aim to get fit. So why not start small and try to complete the London Triathlon in September 2012?
I'll be doing a 750m swim, a 20km cycle and a 5k run. Simple as that.
At the same time I'll be raising funds for Everyman, the charity working towards eliminating testicular and prostate cancer.
And finally, here's a little incentive: the person who donates the most will get to choose what gets written down my arms and legs on race day.

*UPDATE - 03/07/12*
I'm now 1 week into my 3 month intensive training programme and it's slowly getting easier to get up every morning at 6:30 and drag myself to the park/gym/pool. Now that I'm getting into it, I really want to raise as much money as possible for Everyman, help me out! Sponsor me, send my page to your friends and even send it to strangers. It's all for a great cause that will save lives. Thanks.

4 weeks down, just 8 to go! All of my times are starting to creep down now and I've set myself the target of completing the triathlon within 2 hours.
