The Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland working to help people with MND secure the care and support they need, while also promoting research into causes, treatments and a cure. The Association has a vision of a world free of MND. Its mission is to fund and promote research to understand what causes MND, how to diagnose it and, most importantly, how to effectively treat it so that it no longer devastates lives. It is also committed to making sure everyone with MND receives the best care, achieves the highest quality of life possible, and dies with dignity. This includes supporting the families and carers of people with MND as well.

The South Buckaneers Walk to D'Feet MND
Thank you for visiting the fundraising page of the South Bucks Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
As in the past few years we are organising a walk as part of the Association’s nationwide fundraising programme “Walk to D’Feet MND”.
The team – “The South Buckaneers” – are going to walk round the Pednor Loop, starting and finishing at The Queen’s Head, Church Street, Chesham – conveniently placed for refreshments afterwards! And there is plenty of free parking in the nearby Water Meadow car park.
The walk is a relatively easy and largely level 5 mile circular route on tarmac roadway, and everyone of any age is welcome to join us – wheelchairs, prams, buggies, well-behaved four legged friends as well!
The date is Sunday 11 July, starting at 11:00 am
There is no entry fee but any money you are able to raise through sponsorship would be very much appreciated. Over the past few years our walks have enabled us to raise over £7,000 – and to enjoy some exercise in the scenic Chilterns!
The MND Association is the only organisation in the UK and Ireland dedicated to the support of people with MND and those who care for them and does so without any funding from the government, relying solely on voluntary contributions.
