Charity
Action for Children supports and speaks out for the UK's most vulnerable, disadvantaged and neglected children and young people. We’ve been working with children since 1869, and currently run nearly 500 projects across the UK supporting around 50,000 children and young people. This makes us the UK’s leading provider of family and community centres and services for disabled children and young people leaving care. We also promote social justice by lobbying and campaigning for change.
Please note Virgin Money Giving isn't responsible for the content fundraisers post on their pages, but if you see something you feel is offensive or inappropriate, please let us know and we'll look into it.
Team Steria - Byte Night London
Team Members: Isaac George, James Robins, Amar Akhtar, Anu Ahuja

Khalil Gibran said this about children: ”Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts. For they have their own thoughts.”
For those of us privileged to be parents, we identify with Gibran. Our fondest memories should be those as children – free and loved, full of dreams and bright hope – with families.
For some young ones, this is not their memory. Some are on the streets and vulnerable – it’s not where children ought to be.
So, that’s why we are involved in Byte Night. As a company with a strong CSR agenda, we will be participating in Byte Night events in London and Manchester – on October 8
