Every year Whizz-Kidz transforms the lives of hundreds of disabled children across the UK. Whizz-Kidz is a charity that is all about giving disabled children the chance to lead a more independent life. Our service meets their individual mobility needs and ensures they get the right mobility equipment, advice and training at the right time so that they can enjoy an active childhood at home, at school and at play.

The Red Brick Road London to Paris bike ride
On the 8th July, a group of us from The Red Brick Road are planning (well, hoping!) to cycle from London to Paris. The pain will begin very early in the morning at The Red Brick Road and continue way beyond the 300 miles it will take to reach the Eiffel Tower.
We’re hoping that the sight of us struggling to lower ourselves into our office chairs the following Tuesday may be worth a small donation.
We’re fund raising for Whizz-Kidz, a charity that we’ve had close links with this year. 70,000 children and young people around the country are watching childhood pass them by because they don't have the mobility equipment that fits their lives. That's where Whizz-Kidz comes in. Whizz-Kidz helps disabled children and young people gain independence by providing them with vital mobility equipment.
However, giving disabled children the right wheel chair is just the start. Whizz-Kidz provides training to help disabled children get the most from their equipment and gain maximum independence. Through a network of local clubs and life skills training events, Whizz-Kidz helps disabled children to have fun, gain skills and prepare for adult life. In short, Whizz Kidz helps kids be kids.
