To improve homeless people’s lives by giving responsibility back to the individual for their own rehabilitation - and provide them the opportunity to attain the life skills needed for long term independent living
Brighter Futures (GWH Trust)
The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is part of your local community, providing healthcare for approximately 750,000 people across Wiltshire and parts of Bath and North East Somerset. The good work that takes place in the hospital and out in the community every day requires significant funding. Sometimes there are things, such as new, more advanced pieces of equipment which are not ordinarily funded through the NHS. The funds you raise will help us enhance these aspects of patient care.

My page:

Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

We are running 12 half marathons through 2016, in memory of Phil Smith. He had worked for Threshold for over 20 years, and was a true champion for the under dog. He has helped change the lives of many people who have sought help from Threshold, Paul being among them.

He experienced first hand, the hardship of having to travel to Oxford for radiotherapy treatment, and prior to his passing, had been very passionate about the Brighter Futures campaign. He even attempted to raise money through a sponsored bike ride that unfortunately he could not complete due to ill health (his son-in-law took his place).

We kick off the the dozen half marathons on 21st Feb at Wokingham. Please donate now and help us make this a fitting tribute to an amazing man.

Thank You
