Evelina London Children's Hospital
Evelina London Children's Hospital, part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS foundation trust, is the UK’s leading hospital for paediatric heart services as well as a specialist in kidney transplants and dialysis, cleft lip surgery, metabolic conditions, allergy and neurology. We raise money so we can fund life-saving equipment, life-changing research and provide the little comforts that make hospital less scary for our youngest and most anxious patients.

For a third year running, we are raising money in memory of our darling John. This year "Team Muir 2017" has an impressive line-upWe are bigger and stronger than ever.... We know John will be proud!!

Age and Stuart are joined by Alison Hood, Cathy Lyall, Wendy Deguara, Clive Furness, Clare Black, Katy Birch, Jo Sullivan, Rob Alexander, Jo Shannon and Julie Carruthers:).  We are running 2.5km, spinning 15km and walking up St Guys Tower (649 stairs/29 flights)

All in memory of John Patrick our Son, Brother, Twin, nephew, Cousin, Grandson and loved friend who left us when he was 8 days old.

John was born along with his Big Brother Harry at 34 weeks, Both weighing in at an impressive 6 pounds each.  John sadly spent his short life at St Thomas's Evelina NICU - and he died of a previously undiagnosed genetic disorder called Patau Syndrome on the 12th September 2014.

All money we raise will go directly to the NICU at Evelina to buy much-needed equipment.  We have seen first-hand what we have purchased with Jogging for John (Bupa 10km) and Jumping for John (Crazy, scary Abseil off St Thomas's hospital) and it’s so rewarding and satisfying to see.

Please give if you can - and feel free to come along and support on the day.
