Charity

Ashridge Nursery Parents Association
Ashridge Nursery Parents Association was established 30 years ago as a community based registered charity to provide and advance Nursery education for children from the age of three until they reach compulsory school age. Our highly qualified staff of nine has over 100 years of experience in providing quality care and educational provision to the under fives. To ensure quality, the Association has a policy of ensuring a minimum staff to child ratio of 1:6 which is significantly higher than the legal requirement. Local Authority funding of children’s entitlement to “free” Early Years education is significantly below the costs of providing the service to children and their parents. As a consequence the Association is heavily reliant on fund raising in order to maintain quality while remaining viable. The Association is very grateful to all the fund raisers and sponsors who support and enable it to continue it’s work. For more information please do visit our website.

Hi, thanks for visiting our page.

Following on from last years successful Half Marathon in which we raised over £1100.00, we have managed to put together Team Ashridge Bikers - a team of six highly untrained, unfit, ageing dads to take part in this years Wokingham Bikeathon on Sunday 24th June.

This short (very long to us!) 35 mile bike ride around the area will test our ageing legs & bottoms to the limit, however we are committed to raising as much money as possible for Ashridge Nursery in Wokingham.

Established for 30 years, Ashridge Nursery is a non-profit making registered charity. Administered through a management committee, it consists of parents and others who are interested in the future of the nursery - people like you and us!

Team Ashridge Bikers will do the leg work - but we need your help too!

Please support us and donate as much (or as little) as you can to this fantastic charity. All your donations will help Ashridge Nursery continue to grow and maintain the high standards which it gives to local children in their early years.

Many Thanks

Team Ashridge Bikers
