Cardiac Risk In The Young
Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) is the UK charity that supports those affected by conditions that can cause young sudden cardiac death. Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) aims to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions. CRY is a national charity and relies on the generous donations of CRY supporters to fulfill it's ambitious aims. For more information please contact CRY on 01737 363 222 or cry@c-r-y.org.uk

Registration for the event is easy. Simply click 'Donate Now' and make a donation of £60. This will act as your registration fee for the event. In return you will get a full kit, and wristband that will give you perks over the weekend. You must make sure your name is visible on the donation so we know who has paid.

If you wish to participate in the match but would not like a kit to keep you can still play and we just ask that you make a minimum donation of £20.

Also if you are a UK taxpayer please rember to GIFT AID your donation...the government will then give us an EXTRA 25p on each pound and can help us raise THOUSANDS MORE!

Remember 100% of your money is going towards these fantastic causes and in return you are getting a full weekends worth of fun and memories that will last forever!

C-R-Y - who have been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD).  CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by YSCD.

QEQM StillBirth Bereavement Suit - The appeal to raise £108,000 for a bereavement suite at the hospital is approximately three quarters towards its target. The amount raised so far now stands at £93,500, which leaves £14,500 left to raise in order to provide the much-needed facility in the maternity wards. We hope to contribute a large part of this money needed from our event.

And last but not least St Lawrence Scout Group who hold a special place with the Savage family and Ricki was involved with the scout group in one way or another for a large part of his life. The family still has close ties to the group and our donations will go a long way to keeping the group going for a long time to come! Money for the scouts will be given through proceeds raised over the weekend itself as well as through some corporate donations.
