Charity
Bromley Mind’s purpose is to enhance and enrich the quality of life of people with dementia and mental health needs. To achieve this we provide activities, opportunities and services that Enable people to live as independently as possible Enable people to cope with, manage and improve their own mental health Open doors to fulfilling activity and valued roles in the community Provide support to carers of people with dementia. It is estimated 1 in 4 of us will be affected by a mental illness at some time in our lives. Bromley Mind is a charity working to make a positive impact on the lives of residents of the borough with mental health needs, providing direct support to some 1,7000 service users each year working from centres in Orpington, Bromley and Beckenham. People turn to Bromley Mind when they need support to deal with a crisis in their lives: a breakdown in their mental health or a diagnosis of dementia. Funding from regular donations increases our ability to do work that breaks new ground or goes beyond the basic service allowed for in contract specifications. We run Coping with Life Courses, we have a Mental Health Awareness Team who will give presentations to local schools and community groups, and MindCare at Home Team who provide people with essential personal care and respite for family carers. We aim to be able to help those in Bromley who find themselves in mental distress by giving them the support they need at the time they need it.

Tim Gatt's fundraising page
Hello you.
I am taking part in Movember during which I will try to grow a Hulk Hogan-style moustache.
If you enjoy my pathetic attempt and my hamster mouth (not permanent I hope - just an unfortunate outcome from a wisdom tooth op), then please donate.
I have decided to support a day centre run by Bromley Mind - a fantastic charity that I know does a great job of helping people with dementia and other mental health problems and their families.
I have wanted to raise money for them (but in a way that doesn't involve physical exercise.)
And don't forget to click on the "yes to Gift Aid" box!
I really honestly do appreciate your donations.
Thanks,
Tim
