Dove House Hospice is a charity providing excellent care for people in Hull and East Yorkshire with life limiting illnesses. we are specialist in palliative care which is the total care of patients whose illness is no longer curable and for whom the goal must be quality of life. Our services are available to anyone in the region who is over 18 years old and who has a life limiting illness. The care we provide incorporates psychological, physical, social and spiritual support delivered by a multi-professional, collaborative team approach which embraces the whole family and significant others. The hospice is set in beatiful gardens and there is always a relaxed and informal atmosphere, a 'home from home', where we encourgae our patients and their familes to feel at ease. The patient and their family are at the centre of everything we do; they are the focus of our care, not the illness. we aim to give not only specialist acre but special care. We.... - are the only hospice of this type in the are, unique to Hull and East Yorkshire. - provide all of our services free of charge. - take into careful consideration the total well-being of patients and their families, tailoring all our care specifically to their individual needs. - offer both Inpatient and Day Therapy services plus many other clinics and treatment methods. - provide pain and symptom control, terminla care and respite acre. - care for the whole family offering a counselling and bereavement service to anyone who needs us.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and your donations will be quickly processed and passed to the Love You 2 Appeal at Dove House Hospice in Hull which is our chosen charity of the year at Princes Quay Shopping Centre, where I am Centre Manager.
We start the climb, which lasts for 8 days, on Friday 7th September, with the summit attempt starting about midnight Wednesdy 12th, hopefully reaching the peak around dawn on Thursday 13th.
Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
