Sue Ryder
Sue Ryder is a charity providing health and social care to people living with long-term, palliative and end of life needs. We deliver our services in peoples homes, in the community and through our hospices and care centres across the UK. We support people, their families and friends affected by conditions including cancer, stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, dementia, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease and motor neurone disease. Each year we provide 4 million hours of care, make 1.4 million home visits to people in need and deliver 100,000 days of long-term residential care. we are one of the largest providers of specialist palliative and end of life care in the UK. Our work goes beyond the UK. Sue Ryder also supports the delivery of specialised health and social care across Europe and in Southern Africa.

Hi, thanks for visiting our fundraising page!

Please help us raise as much money as we can by sponsoring us for our 10 day trek through the Sahara Desert in aid of the extremely worthy Sue Ryder Care Charity!

If the long trek without the comfort of a bed, clean clothes or a shower isn't enough to make you proud, we also have the daunting task of raising around £5000 for the charity through our sponsorships/events.

We would really appreciate your kind donations which will make a huge difference to people with life-long and end of life illnesses such as Cancer & Huntingdon's.

Your donation will not only help these people, but also their family and friends, by providing support for them through the hardest of times.

Help us make a difference today :)

Kat & Flick xxx

PS. To give you an idea of what your donation means:

£10 - provides 1 hour of individual care from one of Sue Ryder's trained  carers

£15 - pays for a stress relieving complementary therapy session for someone living with cancer

£25 - means someone who has suffered a stroke can receive 2 home visits

£50 - covers the cost of a day care/therapy session for somebody with dementia

£150 - enables 3 family members to each receive 3 bereavement          sessions in one of the hospices
