Kids Company was founded by Camila Batmanghelidjh in 1996. We provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people suffering neglect and abuse. Many of the 13,500 children we reach have experienced severe and multiple trauma; often living in chronic deprivation, with little or no support, and facing the daily anxieties of caring for their family as the role of parent and child are reverse. The support we offer is tailored to the needs of each individual. We never give up on a child, whatever it takes. Every pound that you donate will make a lasting difference to a child’s life. We aim to return children to their childhood and offer the possibility of a positive future.

What better challenge for a bunch of ValueClicker's than taking a weekend trip to the Arctic on sleds and Nordic skis in temperatures as low as -30C?
Here's the plan...
Day 1 - Fly to Kiruna, Lapland via Stockholm ready to meet the dogs and sled to the Wilderness Camp - a small taster for the weekend ahead.
Day 2 - Ice fishing competition, 40km circuit fighting against the clock.
Day 3 - Independent 25km competition through the landscape via Karpasjarvi over 5 hours.
It's all for a great cause - Kids Company - a charity helping thousands of vulnerable children each year to give them a better future. We hope to raise £6,000 in total so any money you could spare would really be appreciated. Thank you so much in advance for all your support and donations :)
