Elizabeth's Legacy Of Hope
Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope provides life-changing support for children who have lost their limbs through war, accidents, and lack of access to medical care. Thousands of young amputees across the world suffer every day, often with very little support, marginalised by society. Through the generosity of our supporters in the UK, Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope provides new limbs, surgery, education, and advocacy for the world's most vulnerable amputees. We believe all child amputees deserve to live a happy and healthy life. Your help can bring us closer to making this happen.

* AND HOW HAPPY I WILL BE TO HAVE SO MANY MESSAGES TOO *

* YOU CAN BE AS GENEROUS AS YOU WISH OF COURSE BUT PLEASE HELP ME WITH AT LEAST £5 TO HIT MY TARGET OF £5,000 AND 1000 MESSAGES *

This is no less than my fourth marathon for Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope - so I'll be crossing the 100 mile mark!

ELoH is going from strength to strength ... we are into our sixth year, helping child amputees to walk, and go to school, in Sierra Leone, Liberia and India - in addition to those we have helped in Tanzania. This is photograph of me in Sierra Leone last year;  I was so excited and happy to meet some of the children we help, but there are so many more ...

This year's marathon will be extra special and extra poignant.  25th April marks the 10th anniversary of the sad event that led to the creation of ELoH ... the day our mother Elizabeth died after being hit by the bus that was supposed to bring her to hospital to see me, with my new born baby Rollo.  The day that my niece Pollyanna, then just two, lost her leg ... and Sarah, my twin sister, was so injured too.

Thank you for your kindness, all of which will help so many children and will help our family too.  And thank too to Rheanna Lascelles from my children's primary school, Dickleburgh in Norfolk, who is running with me too!  Please look out for both of us!

* Thank you!  Love as ever Vee x *
