Ty Hafan
Ty Hafan offers comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families helping them make the most of the time they have left together. Not only is Ty Hafan a home from home providing specialist palliative care, but it also offers a much needed source of strength, respite and support for the whole family. From diagnosis to bereavement and beyond it takes its support right into the heart of the family home. For Ty Hafan to offer this unique service completely free of charge to families in Wales, it has to raise millions every year.
Marie Curie Cancer Care
Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to give people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home, supported by their families. It runs nine Marie Curie Hospices across the UK offering free specialist care for patients and support for families. The charity conducts palliative care research to find better ways of caring for terminally ill people and also funds scientists who investigate the causes and treatments of cancer. Charity Registration No 207994 (England & Wales) and SC0 38731 (Scotland)

Welsh Women Walking is a group of women who walk (and talk) for wellbeing and to raise money for great causes.

See our website www.welshwomenwalking.co.uk for full details.

We have raised over £100,000 to date. One charity we always support is Ty Hafan, a Welsh childrens hospice that is truly an inspirational place.

This year we have a BIG adventure we are trekking to Base Camp Everest with Richard Parks of www.737challenge.com to help him raise funds for Marie Curie.

If you are sponsoring a particular woman on our team please start the message with her name so she can thank you personally.

Thank you for your support we really appreciate it.
