My page:

Hi, thanks for visiting the BBC Youth charity page.

This half-term we will be building a slum in the church car park & spending the night sleeping in it! It’s just a small way for us to experience how a billion people in our world spend a lifetime.

We do have lots of fun, but it's also a big challenge - living without mobiles or make-up, sleeping on wooden pallets under tarpaulins and eating a diet of lentils & rice, or porridge made with water. It really does make us appreciate our own beds and the comforts of home!

For this year's Slum Survivor you can give towards 3 different causes: The Royal Marsden Cancer hospital, Bookham youth project & our mission partner in Nepal. If you want your donation to go to Nepal, then please donate by cheque or cash through the Bookham Baptist Church Office or do an online transfer (Reference: 'SLS' and your name, Acct:00006335/SortCode: 40-52-40).

Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation, so doesn't take a percentage of the donations.

We really do appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
