Meningitis UK funds lifesaving research to find a vaccine to eradicate all forms of meningitis. Sadly meningitis can be incredibly difficult to detect as the symptoms are similar to the common cold or flu, plus there are occasions when people show no, or very few, symptoms. For these reasons we believe the only way to truly eradicate meningitis is through the development of a preventative vaccine, which is our sole focus. We work with families across the UK who have experienced meningitis and are confident that with enough support, we will be able to put a stop to the heartache and devastation that meningitis causes. Ryan Bresnahan's...'a LIFE for a CURE'
Our sincere adoration and thanks to everyone for their fantastic support. Our Commitment to raising funds in honour of Ryan is without doubt long term, with a personal fundraising target of £1 million towards an overall UK wide £7m target, within Meningitis UK.
Only with your help and drive will we achieve this target and hopefully somewhere along our journey, our efforts will secure a ‘Vaccine’ that will eradicate this disease and the merciless attack on young people’s lives.
