AIRE Centre's fundraising page
We are walking in the 2012 London Legal sponsored walk on May 21st to raise funds for The AIRE Centre, that offers a free legal advice service to people who live in London.
Our walkers are:Rebecca Collins, Esther Lieu, Adam Weiss, Sarah St.Vincent, Emma Fenelon, Nicole Francis, Hani Ahmad, Ellie Sibley, Charlotte MacKenzie, Raquel Morneo, Mariano Miccoli, Felicity Woof, Nicole Ziman.
The AIRE Centre is a charity that defends the fundamental rights of vulnerable and marginalised individuals under European Law. Examples of our work include, but are not limited to, assisting victims of domestic abuse, advising prisoners and those in detention, helping people claim the benefits to which they are entitled, training lawyers about protecting victims of trafficking, and intervening at the European Court of Human Rights and European Court of Justice.
The need for our help increases all the time and AIRE Centre needs all the support it can get to ensure that the poorest and most disadvantaged people do not suffer loss, discrimination or exploitation because they don't have access to legal protection.
