Martin House Hospice care for Children and Young People with progressive life limiting illnesses, and provide support to their families. We are based in our purpose built hospice in Boston Spa, Wetherby and care for children and young people from throughout the Yorkshire region.

Alfie Oliver's fundraising page
Hi, thanks for visiting our page.
We've joined together to raise funds to support Martin House Children's Hospice, a charity that is close to our heart, and who supports Alfie Oliver. We all run together at York Postal Harriers, and can often be seen doing our long runs together on a Saturday morning around York, although Shawn does seem to have a lot more energy than Helen and Cathy!
Alfie was born with pulmonary hypertension and is currently on the waiting list for a heart and lung transplant which is needed to save his life. He's a very brave little boy and has already had a series of gruelling operations. Alfie will be four in July and has been receiving treatment since birth.
We wanted to raise money for a charity close to our hearts and we run with Alfie's dad Rob.
Martin House do wonderful work, not just with sick children but with the families of those children as well.
