Tommy's
Tommy's goal is to reduce the incidence of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth which cause so much suffering to more than a quarter of all parents across the UK. Tommy's believes that disseminating information can help to minimise the risks inherent in pregnancy whilst medical research will increase our understanding of the fundamental causes and hence lead to identifying those most at risk and treating them.

Thanks so much for visiting my page!

I'm still slightly in shock (and a little bit of denial!) that I'll be attempting to run a half marathon on 7th October 2012. It represents a huge challenge for me, as I have never enjoyed running up till now and could not even run for a mile without stopping when I agreed to take part.

I'm running for Tommy's, a briliiant charity that aims to reduce the incidence of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth in the UK. I am so thankful that my twin daughters were born healthy at 35 weeks and were able to thrive and grow without needing special care. It is the biggest miracle and I know how lucky I am not to have experienced the heartbreak of the parents that Tommy's supports.

If you can spare any donation, however small, it will make a real difference to the work that Tommy's does and both they and I will be hugely grateful.

Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

Thank you for your support!
