For over 30 years the Sobell House Hospice Charity has been providing care and support to those members of the Oxfordshire community affected by terminal illness. At Sobell House we focus on the needs of the individual and those that love them. The service is free of charge to those that need our help regardless of their beliefs, race, age or wealth. Our care teams strive to offer dignity, peace, support and freedom from pain whilst also offering a release from the daily worries associated with terminal illness. The work of the hospice currently runs at a cost of around £3.2 million a year much of which is raised through the work of the Sobell House Hospice Charity. Each year the charity works hard to raise the money required but we can’t do it without you!

A group of friends and I are going to walk the Ridgeway (87 miles) in memory of James Wyse who was passionate about walking there and had a great knowledge of its history
Words cannot exress how amazing a person James was, however, I think the amount of people who are getting involved with this event speaks for itself, everyone who knew him loved James :)
He wanted to walk the whole of the Ridgeway so come and join me and we will walk it for him! Alternatively, please sponsor this page and help Sobell House
Any funds that we can raise from this walk will go to Sobell House Hospice who have been extremely supportive to James, myself and his family and I think its important to give something back to them to help others
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed directly to Sobell House who are linked with Virgin Money Giving. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this
