CLIC Sargent
CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards. Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years. CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support, every step of the way.

On the 28th October, Claire and I, along with a team of BA Customer Service Trainers will be running The BUPA Great South Run in Portsmouth as part of the CLIC Sargent running team. It is 10 miles  - Eeeek! We are both new to running, but are trying our best with our training to do justice to the cause. Last week we completed a 7 mile training run around Central Park, NY. OK that did include a stop off at a few shops, and Mcdonalds, but we are trying our best! Please support us in our endevour to raise as much as possible for such a worthy charity.

We are fundraising for CLIC Sargent to show our support and love for two very special people, Julie and Matthew Chrzanowska. Matthew is currently undergoing treatment for leukaemia, being looked after fantastically by Mum Julie and the team at Southampton General Hospital. Julie and Matthew have asked that all donations go towards CLIC Sargent, who do an amazing job supporting children and families with cancer. We organised A Night Out In Aid Of CLIC Sargent on the 14th September, which raised over 1,700 thanks to the fantastic generosiy of Julie's friends and colleagues. We are proud to be continuing to raise money for CLIC Sargent, a charity that has supported Julie and Matthew so brilliantly in their time of need.

Thanks for visiting our page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
