The Eikon Charity
"Supporting young people through today, unlocking potential for tomorrow." Increasing numbers of young people in the UK begin life in difficult or unhappy circumstances. Eikon exists to help these young people transform their lives by providing support, coaching and challenging activities through their pivotal teenage years. These activities and programmes are run by qualified frontline staff, based in secondary schools where strong relationships are built with young people, their families and the wider community. This work has grown from a fortnightly youth club in the small town of New Haw in 1995 to what it is today, encompassing 13 schools across Surrey.

Dear all,

Thank-you very much for visiting my fundraising page.

In August a friend and I will be donning our walking boots and taking on a 200mile challenge - walking from St Bees on the coast of the Irish Sea to Robin Hoods Bay on the North Sea coast.  It will be two weeks of strenuous walking and a personal challenge I have always wanted to fulfill.

As well as it being a physical challenge, I have set myself the goal of using this event to raise as much sponsorship money as possible for the wonderful work of Eikon - a local charity supporting children, young people and their families which is based at Fullbrook School.

As Principal of Fullbrook School we are incredibly fortunate to have Eikon working to provide additional support for our students when they are facing challenges in their lives.  The charity makes such a huge difference to so many of our young people and the part it has to play in school life can't be underestimated.

Please join me in supporting Eikon's work so that their dedicated front-line workers (such as Frankie at Fullbrook who the students know so well) can continue to help young people not just at Fullbrook, but across the whole county.  To donate simply click on the "donate now" button below. Please give as much as you can afford, every contribution however great or small will make a difference.

Thank-you very much,

Anne  Turner

Principal at Fullbrook School.
