Annie climbs Mount Kilimanjaro for kids!!

I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
I plan to climb Mount Kilimanjaro for a charity called Childreach International, and I need to raise £2,300. The charity works with communities around Tanzania to improve schools, build Vocational Training Centres and provide clean water, toilets and larger rooms to accomodate the children comfortably. The charity also has a carbon offsetting programme that plants trees in Tanzania to keep our flights out to Africa carbon neutral. Before the climb I will be visiting some of the projects in Tanzania, so I can see how the money I raised is benefitting the community.
Mount Kilimanjaro stands at 19,340 feet and is the earth's fourth most prominent mountain, and so is one of the world's "Seven Summits". Mount Killimanjaro is 37 miles long, and each climber will pass through 5 climate zones, from equatorial to arctic, before reaching the summit. The temperature at the summit ranges from 5 to -25 degrees Celsius and the trek should take around 4 days to to the top and a day and a half back down. I will be trekking up the Machame route which is considered probably the most beautiful and by no means the easiest route.
