The Sick Kids Friends Foundation helps sick children get better by funding extra medical equipment, improving facilities, financing specialised research and training and providing a wide variety of extra comforts for young patients and their families at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, other health centres in the East of Scotland and in the Community.

Sick Kids Save Point Challenge
Hi folks,
I'm trying to raise money for the Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital by taking on a truly gargantuan challenge. Along with many other brave souls, i will be attempting to complete a marathon.
That's right, a marathon.
A (video-gaming) marathon!
Now, for those of you who are thinking that sitting on a couch and playing games for 24 hours doesn't sound nearly as taxing as running an actual marathon, I would draw your attention to the serious symptoms I may encounter on this epic challenge. Extreme Thumb Fatigue, dark grey bags under my eyes, not to mention the damage to a marriage that hogging the TV for hours on end can cause.
Quite apart from all that, it's for a fantastic cause. Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital provides an amazing level of care to children from all over Scotland who are having to deal with really hard stuff so early on in their lives. Let's help them do that.
