'A very charming and inventive story' Georgia Taylor

'A Week in Space' is a new and ambitious musical that will be performed in Oct 2012 to raise money for Wigan support centre for the homeless, 'The Brick'.We already have numerous talented people in rehearsal from the Wigan Methodist circuit and beyond and is supported by 'Corrie' and 'Casualty' actress Georgia Taylor. The cast, choir, dance and production team already are working hard for this cause so please donate immediately!

More information can be found at www.eventyde.co.uk and www.thebrick.org.uk

Homelessness appears to be an issue that drifts in and out of the public conscience because sadly we are all too accustomed to the sight of people sleeping rough in our towns and cities. I'm sure we all spare a little loose change or buy a copy of The Big Issue when we can, but so much more needs to be done. That is why I'm incredibly proud to be supporting a group of Wiganners using their combined creative talents to do just that. A group of local actors, singers and dancers, under the guidance and direction of Rob and Joanne Jones (eventyde) are currently rehearsing a new production called 'A Week In Space' that they hope will raise much needed funds for local Wigan homelessness charity ‘The Brick’. I urge as many of my fellow Wiganners as possible to support them in their mission, either by pledging whatever you can or by purchasing a ticket for the performance (venue and date tbc.) Not only will you be supporting vulnerable people in your community but you will be entertained in the process. It's a win-win situation! Thank you in advance,
Georgia x
