Asthma UK is the only charity dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the 5.4 million people in the UK whose lives are affected by asthma. We fund vital research, health information materials and essential services for people with asthma, including the Asthma UK Adviceline and Kick Asthma holidays for children with asthma.

Ben vs the 2012 Virgin London Marathon.
26.2 (crazy) miles.
I might actually be crazy, but I am running the Virgin London Marathon in 2012 for Asthma UK. Yes, we all remember at the start of the year when I was a chubber, and I harp on about how I love running, but this is going to be HARD.
Now I have Asthma and I while it has got better there are days I still know I've got it. Plus when I wasn't allowed to go on bouncy castles for fear of an attack, thats the kind of crazy stuff that stays with you!
At it's worst Asthma kills 3 people a day, that might seem small in the grand scheme of things, but then you need to think about the people who are affected by the condition on a daily basis. Asthma UK use your money to research, prepare and educate Asthma sufferers, with the aim of reducing those deaths and symptoms.
