Out & About supports disabled children and young people in the east of England to become fully included in their choice of local leisure activities in their own community. Out & About makes a real, lasting difference to the lives of disabled children through its core aims: Enable disabled children to access their right to real, active inclusion Empower disabled children by developing practical skills and giving them greater confidence Enrich the lives of disabled children by opening up new opportunities and creating many happy memories

Pedal Powered Biking Birds - Cycle Challenge!
Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
Today, Sunday 13th June, we have completed a 60-mile cycle. We left the Out & About office in Claydon at 8:30am, and finished at the Out & About Lowestoft office at 4:30pm. We had 3 stops along the way, and actually took 5 hours, 35 minutes to complete 60.7 miles .... we're very chuffed with ourselves (and also a little bit achy!). Our friends/ guides/ witnesses Margaret & Philip Hancock (who are very fit, keen cyclists and have, in the past worked & volunteered for O&A) put together todays route for us and have organised some pretty, interesting training cycles along the way as well as being with us today.
Any funds that we raise will go directly to Out & About (www.oaa.co.uk) - the charity that Fiona works for. Out & About is the charity which enables disabled children and young people to access everyday leisure activities throughout the east of England.
