Parkinson's UK
Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's. Because we're here, no one has to face Parkinson's alone. We bring people with Parkinson's, their carers and families together via our network of local groups, our website and free confidential helpline. Specialist nurses, our supporters and staff provide information on every aspect of Parkinson's. As the UK's Parkinson's support and research charity we're leading the work to find a cure, and we're closer than ever. We also campaign to change attitudes and demand better services. Our work is totally dependant on donations. Help us to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's.
MND Association
The Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association is the only national organisation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland dedicated to the support of people with MND and everyone who cares for them. We improve care and support for people living with MND, their families and carers and fund and promote research that leads to new understanding and treatments, and brings us closer to a cure for MND. We also campaign and raise awareness so the needs of people with MND and everyone who cares for them are recognised and addressed by wider society. Our vision is a world free from MND. Macular Society
The Macular Society is the national charity for anyone affected by central vision loss. We have more than 15,000 members and, as the biggest patient group in the sight loss sector, we are the voice of people with macular conditions. We provide information and support to improve the lives of people with macular disease and to ensure no one has to face it alone. We have nearly 300 Macular Society support groups around the UK and beyond, run by volunteers who are the experts in living with macular disease. We also have a helpline as well as befriending and counselling services and we offer one-to-one training in skills to make the best use of remaining vision. We campaign for better care and we fund research so that one day we can overcome macular disease..

Our Story

Dave Walker, is head of our sales team. 18 months ago, his mum was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease(MND). This horrific disease changed her life as she is now unable to eat, drink or even speak and more symptoms develop on a daily basis. This unexpected blow came out of nowhere, but the family are just concentrating on creating memories to keep with them forever.

Around ten years ago Dave's mother-in-law was diagnosed with Parkinson's and has struggled with this every since. To add salt to the wounds, she was recently got diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time and had to have a mastectomy.

A third charity Macular Society was added as we supply a Macular supplement and our aim is to reduce the risk of people developing AMD so we are passionate about helping this charity with the work they carry out.
