As many of you know, we have lost three fantastic women to Breast Cancer over the past few years: Simon's wife, Michelle in June 2009, James' wife, Cat in September 2011 and Chris' wife, Soo in February this year.

In their memory and to raise funds for the charity Breast Cancer Care, we will be joining 27,000 other cyclists taking part in this year's London to Brighton Cycle Ride on Sunday, 17th of June.

The 54 mile (87km) route takes us from Clapham Common in South London to Brighton on the south coast passing scenic riot areas such as Tooting, Mitcham and Carshalton and through the commuter belt counties of Surrey and Sussex.

Along the way we will have to struggle over the hills at How Lane, Church Hill, Turners Hill and then, just before the end is in sight, the dreaded Ditchling Beacon - a climb of 138m over a distance of 1 mile (1.6km) - an averaged gradient of 11.6%!

As we're no longer in our youth, please support us by sponsoring this mad endeavour!

James, Neil, Chris and Jim

*The London to Brighton Cycle Ride is organised by The British Heart Foundation but all sponsorship collected through this page will be going direct to Breast Cancer Care.
